# Deleting Your Account

> Delete your Alpha account from Profile → Settings. Withdraw your funds first: deletion is permanent.

  <Step title="Open Profile">
    Log in to Alpha and go to the **Profile** tab.

  <Step title="Open Settings and select Delete Account">
    Tap the settings icon in the top right corner, then **Delete Account**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Withdraw your funds">
    You will be prompted to withdraw your balance to a USDC address on Arbitrum before continuing. See [Withdrawals](/get-started/withdrawals).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Once you confirm, your Alpha account is permanently deleted. This includes your username, profile picture, email address, and login credentials.
