# Referrals and Revenue Share

> Your referral link brings traders to Alpha. Revenue share pays you a cut of every fee they generate, across three levels of your network.

Two things, one system:

* **Referral link:** the link or code you share. Anyone who signs up through it is attributed to you permanently.
* **Revenue share:** the portion of Alpha's trading fee you receive every time a trader in your network trades.

## Get your referral link

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Profile">
    Tap your profile in the app.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Tap Referrals">
    Your personal link and code are shown here, along with how many traders you have referred and what you have earned.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Share it">
    Copy the link or share it directly to any app. When someone installs Alpha and enters your code at signup, they are tied to you.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  Put the link in the places your audience already visits: your bio, your pinned post, your group's welcome message, the description of every video.
</Tip>

## How revenue share works

Alpha charges a fee on every trade. A share of the Alpha fee paid by traders in your network goes to you, across three levels: the people you refer, the people they refer, and the people those people refer. Rates, tiers, a calculator, and the Super Affiliate application are on the Affiliate Program page.

## Do my referrals get a discount?

No. Referred traders pay the same fees as everyone else. Your earnings come out of Alpha's share, not theirs.

## Where do I see and claim earnings?

Your referral earnings are shown under **Profile → Referrals**. Tap **Claim** before Friday 9:30 AM Eastern and the payout lands in your Alpha balance that Friday. See [Competitions and payouts](/faq/competitions).
