What you get as a host
- A dedicated leaderboard for your community, visible in the app under Leaderboard
- A join link you control
- Revenue share on every trade your participants make, during and after the competition
- Additional revenue share terms agreed with the Alpha team for the competition itself
How to host one
1
Email the team
Send a note to [email protected] with your community’s size, where it lives (Discord, Telegram, YouTube, etc.), and the dates you have in mind.
2
Agree the format
Alpha works with you on length, ranking method (PnL, return, or volume), prize pool, and revenue share terms.
3
Launch
You get a join link and the competition appears on the leaderboard. Share the link with your community.
4
Payout
Alpha handles winner verification and payouts by default. Hosts who prefer to run their own prize pool can do that instead. See Competitions and payouts.
Prizes and payouts
- Alpha-funded prizes are paid by Alpha directly to winners’ accounts after the competition closes and winners complete identity verification.
- Host-funded prizes are handled by the host. Alpha still runs the leaderboard and confirms final standings.
Winners of an Alpha-paid prize must complete identity verification before receiving it. This is the only time Alpha asks a user for ID. See Competitions and payouts.
Joining a competition as a trader
You do not have to host to take part. Open Leaderboard in the app to see active competitions, or join directly from a link shared by a trading group or creator you follow. Your normal trades count; there is nothing extra to set up.Host a competition
Email [email protected] with your community details and preferred dates.
