How do I create an account?

Download Alpha

Get the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Sign up

Open the app and tap Sign Up. Enter your email or phone number and verify it.

Verify your identity (KYC)

Complete identity verification using your government-issued ID and a live selfie.

Fund your account

Deposit via card, bank transfer, or crypto and start trading.

Why do I need to verify my identity?

Identity verification (KYC — “Know Your Customer”) is required to comply with global financial regulations and protect against fraud, money laundering, and underage use. We use Sumsub, a leading verification provider trusted by regulated platforms worldwide.

What documents do I need?

  • A government-issued photo ID (passport, driver’s license, or national ID card)
  • A live selfie (we’ll guide you through it in-app)
  • Proof of address (only if required for your region)
Make sure your ID is valid (not expired), the photo is clear, and all four corners of the document are visible.

How long does verification take?

Most verifications complete in under 5 minutes. Manual review can take up to 24–48 hours. You’ll get a notification when you’re approved.

My verification was rejected — what do I do?

Common reasons:
  • ID is expired, damaged, or unclear
  • Selfie doesn’t match the ID photo
  • Information you entered doesn’t match your ID
  • Document type isn’t supported in your country
Re-submit with corrected documents from the app. If you’re still stuck, contact support.

Can I have more than one account?

No. Each person can have only one Alpha account. Multiple accounts may be flagged and closed.

How do I update my personal info?

Go to Settings → Account in the app. Some changes (like name or country of residence) may require re-verification.

How do I close my account?

Settings → Account → Close Account. Before closing:
  1. Close all open positions
  2. Withdraw all remaining funds
  3. Confirm closure
Account closure is permanent — you can’t reopen the same account.
